Fr. Richard Ho Lung, founder of the Missionaries of the Poor invites special guests and volunteers to share their experiences working with the poor as well as enrich the faith of laity who encounter Christ in their service to the poor in Jamaica.

Fr. Richard Ho Lung always had an affinity for the poor and dispossessed, but it was a spiritual awakening that altered his path as a scholarly priest. He focused his life on the streets of his native Jamaica, founding Missionaries of the Poor, a religious community dedicated to serving the rejected and destitute. In his EWTN series, Church and the Poor, guests and volunteers share experiences working with the poor and enriching the faith of those in service to Christ.
