Egg Drop Soup

3 cups water
6 eggs, loosely beaten
1 teaspoon corn starch combined with 1-2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 scallions minced
Salt to taste

Bring water to boil in a medium saucepan. Combine corn starch with 1-2 tablespoons water mixing until there are no clumps. Remove the boiling water from the heat and add the cornstarch mixture, stirring well. Immediately add eggs and continue to stir. Add soy sauce, salt, pepper and scallions.
