St. Joseph was a carpenter, meaning that he would have made various items such as plows and other farm equipment, doors, chests, and furniture. He taught this trade to Our Lord.

How old was Jesus when Joseph died?

We are unsure. The Bible does not say how old St. Joseph was at Jesus’ birth, and we also do not know exactly when he died. We only know that he died after finding Jesus in the Temple and before the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry.
