This is the story of Jesuit Father Brebeuf and his companions planting the Catholic
faith in Ontario, Canada. Their lives, their concern for others, their preaching, their
martyrdom portrayed courage and inspired hope in the native people.
Martyrs' Shrine was built to honor the faith of these early missionaries and carries on
their Apostolate today. The shrine is a place of healing, pilgrimage, prayer, and peace
for the thousands who visit each year from all over the world.
