Want to be “in the know” about EWTN’s new series, which begin airing next month? Then don’t miss “EWTN New Season Preview,” with Host Doug Keck, airing all this week! Plus, with the looming Super Bowl generating interest in all things sports, you won’t want to miss the newest “Faith Bowl III."

New Series

You’ve got five opportunities to preview our new series. So set your recorders for 11 a.m. ET, Mon., Feb. 8; 2:30 a.m. ET, Thurs., Feb. 11; 11:30 ET, Fri., Feb. 12; 6 p.m. ET, Sat., Feb. 13, or 2:30 p.m. ET, Mon., Feb. 15.

During this preview, you’ll learn about:

All Things Girl,” based on a series of books by the same name, which parents are raving about! The series is co-hosted by EWTN Favorite Teresa Tomeo, co-author of the series and host of “Catholic Connections” heard daily on EWTN Radio Network.
As one mother said: “After reading the first book [in the series], “Friends, Boys and Getting Along,” I decided it was perfect to start treating the girls like princesses – daughters of the King. We are having a “Royal Tea” and are going to make "Family Trees" of our Royal Family. I'm excited because we have girls from about 5 - 14. When appropriate, we will split into different age groups.” (Airs 6 p.m. ET Mondays and10:30 a.m. ET Fridays.)

Engage your tweens using the television series itself, or order the books and follow along. Click here to see what’s available: http://bit.ly/9BRh7J. There’s also an “All Things Guy” book available from EWTN Religious Catalogue, http://bit.ly/ctGxrA.

Answering the Questions of Jesus,” in which Fr. Andrew Apostoli, CFR, examines the questions that Jesus asked his followers while on earth. How will you answer? (Airs 6:30 a.m. ET Sundays and 5:30 p.m. ET Thursdays.)

Military Orders and the Crusades,” with the wonderful James and Joanna (“Feasts & Seasons”) Bogle, who explore the sometimes controversial, but always fascinating, history of the military-religious orders of the Catholic Church. (Airs 5:30 p.m. ET Sundays and 11:30 p.m. Wednesdays.)

NFP: Embracing the Marital Gift,” with Catholic Evangelist Damon Owens, explores the major methods, theology, science and proper use of the misunderstood “natural family planning.” (Airs 10:30 p.m. ET Fridays and 2 a.m. ET Saturdays.)

Catholicism on Campus: The Students,” with Msgr. Stuart Swetland, explores the teachings of the Church with students from Mount St. Mary’s University. (Airs 10 p.m. ET Thursdays and 3:30 a.m. Fridays.)

The Faithful Traveler,” with Diana von Glahn, takes you to Catholic Shrines around the U.S. and explores the lives of the saints associated with each shrine. (Airs 5 p.m. ET Sundays and 1 p.m. ET Thursdays.)

Apologetics,” a block of programming dedicated to helping you become a better evangelist. (Will air 4 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET Saturdays.)

Catholic Themes,” in which you can tune in every weekday to programming focused on a specific aspect of the Faith; from the Blessed Mother to the Eucharist to the Saints. (Airs 11 a.m. ET, Monday through Friday.)

Faith Bowl III

Grab some popcorn and gather around the television set to watch Major League baseball players Mike Piazza, Mike Sweeney and Bobby Keppel discuss the challenge of living the Catholic Faith amidst the glitz and glamour of professional sports. (Airs 5 p.m. ET, Sun., Feb. 7.)

It’s a great week on EWTN! God bless Family!
