MASS FOR 9/11 VICTIMS AT ROME'S AIRPORT

VATICAN, Sep 10, 02 (CWNews.com) -- The Pontifical Council for Migrants has organized a liturgical ceremony at Rome's Fiumicino airport for September 11, to commemorate the victims of the September 11 terrorist attack on the US.

Archbishop Stephen Fumio Hamao, the president of the Pontifical Council, will preside at a Mass celebrated in the airport chapel. Government workers, security officials, and airline personnel are expected to participate in the service.
