Pope Praying for Politicians
September Intentions Also Include Poorest Churches
VATICAN CITY, AUG. 31, 2012 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI will be praying this month for politicians and their sincerity.
The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for September.
His general intention is "that politicians may always act with honesty, integrity, and love for the truth."
And the Pontiff's mission intention focuses on the poorest Churches: "that Christian communities may have a growing willingness to send missionaries, priests, and lay people, along with concrete resources, to the poorest Churches."
