Receiving Communion from a priest
Question from on 03-21-2013:
Why does a priest let people go to Communion who are cohabiting? He knows of their relationship. I am wondering if it would be a sin for me to receive Communion from that priest.

Elizabeth--

I'm afraid you are assuming a lot about the status and knowledge of other people that you have not proven. I can only answer your second question. No, it is not a sin to receive Communion from this priest. And I urge you to stop speculating about the private lives of other people and the personal knowledge of a priest.
