re: purgatory
Question from on 12-04-2012:
If "most Protestants reject prayers for the dead, as they reject Purgatory. Instead, they argue wrongly that God does not see sin or hold it against the sinner", do they also believe that everyone gets the same reward in heaven?

Answer by Fr. John Echert on 12-11-2012:
Good question. I do not know and remember that there are hundreds of non-Catholic views on theological matters, which itself argues against Protestantism. Sadly, even many Catholics are not aware that there are degrees of happiness in Heaven--based on degree of charity, and degrees of misery in Hell--based on wickedness.
