| The abused wife may benefit from going to an Al-Anon support group to help her learn some skills on how to take care of herself and family while living with her present situation. She did not mention alcohol or drug abuse, but you do not have to be living with addicts to benefit from this program. It sounds like a toxic environment, and my hope and prayer for this dear soul that she find workable solutions to help her through this. I do not think the Church expects her to stay in an abusive situation, but she will need support. May God surround her with loving people to help her. | ||
