Indian Woman in Ireland
Question from on 11-24-2012:
I realize you don't know all the facts about this case, but it seems to me that IF she had proper medical treatment during her pregnancy, the fetus may not have died, and IF she was on antibiotics she never would have died of a blood infection.

So, who's to blame? The doctors who didn't provide the proper treatment to prevent such a "life threatening" condition in the first place?

Dear Laurel

The facts in this case are still muddied. This article published by the British Catholic newspaper, Catholic Herald, tell the story: http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/commentandblogs/2012/11/22/the-facts-of-savitas- tragic-death-are-still-elusive/
