| Example of "mainstream" anti-Catholicism Question from on 03-01-2009: | ||

Judie, Look at this Time Magazine article that I have linked below. I think it has more separate pieces of ridicule of the Church than any other article of similar size. Is anti-Catholicism so mainstream today that Time can print this? You don't have to answer this article if you don't want since it's not prolife except in the sense that it ridicules the strongest prolife organization in the world. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1881152,00.html?iid=sphere-inline-bottom | ||

Dear Will This is one of those growing number of articles that takes a tragic slap at Catholic teaching with no justification at all. I think the writer thought he was being funny; I know Time magazine is not being funny when they provide it to readers! To answer your specific question, indeed anti-Catholicism is so rampant that people think they can get away with literal murder and still call themselves Catholic. Look at who Obama just nominated for Secretary of HHS! Shame on Time. I did write them. Judie Brown |
