Receiving Communion

I was married in the Church many years ago and I am now divorced. I have been living with a man for seven years now. Can I still receive Communion?

Readiness to receive Communion presumes that the Catholic is not living in an irregular relationship. Since you are currently living with a man outside of marriage, it would be presumed that you are not ready to receive Communion until that relationship either ends or is regularized with a valid marriage.
