I would like to know if invitrofertilization is morally ethical in any way. My daughter is looking seriously at this and I am very worried. What can I say? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank You God Bless

In Vitro Fertilization is not approved by the Church. However there is information on line that could help your daughter make a decision about fertility treatments that would NOT be opposed to Catholic teaching. Please note NATIONAL CENTER FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH: http://www.popepaulvi.com/ncfwh.htm

This organization has trained doctors in most states to treat infertility in accord with Catholic teaching.
