| Eulogies at Protestant funerals Question from David on 12-10-2012: |
I am a Catholic convert and want to obey God and the Church. My mother is Protestant and I am sure I will be asked to give a eulogy when she passes. I would like to know ahead of time whether or not this is permissible. |

David-- Yes, Catholics may attend Protestant funerals and give a eulogy if asked to do so. If communion is offered during the service though, Catholics may not receive Protestant communion. Michelle Arnold www.ewtn.com |
