| Evangelizing teen Question from Pamela on 10-29-2012: |
We have teenager that likes to argue everything from "women's rights" to homosexuality & abortion to authenticity of the Bible to Catholic teachings. We have tried to live, teach, and explain these things consistently from the time he was able to talk. I suppose he is trying to figure out what he believes. We are trying to re-direct him to appropriate resources like the Bible, Catholic catechism, and expert apologists, but he seems drawn to the cafeteria Catholics and non-Catholics for answers. He is bright but a little on the lazy side when it comes to studying and looking at the errors in his views. So how do we evangelize a teen like this? We pray for him and take on the debates, but any other ideas? |
