Dear Dr. Geraghty, Thank you for suggesting the thought of Blessed Newman as a voice in the new evangelization. I am intrigued by his "Apologia" and other writings with the aim to "open to Rome." His belief that the Greek poets and pagans played a significant part in the preparation for the Gospel presents a compelling way for me to begin a conversation for those who do not believe.
