valid and sacramental marriage

A lady got married in the Old World Catholic Church. She has been told by many her marriage is not VALID N NOT a SACRMENTAL MARRIAGE in the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church. Is this information correct? If so- she is now divorced- would she need an annulment? Thank U.

If a Catholic marries before an Old World Catholic priest such a marraige is invalid due to a defect of canonical form.
