EWTN Catholic Q&A
Easter
Question from Geri on 04-25-2012:

I have tried to find out this answer for severl years now, but no one seems to know. I was just wondering if during Easter when we can not eat meat if that would include the beef flavored roman noodles?? They do not have actual meat in them they are just a flavoring.I hope someone can give me the answer to this.. Thank you & God Bless

Answer by David Gregson on 12-06-2012:

Look at the ingredients. If there is meat in the flavoring, then steer clear of beef flavored noodles on Fridays in Lent. Have the shrimp flavor instead.
