Blessed Mother
Question from Rosemary on 3/19/2014:

Why wasn't it a sin for Mary to become anxious when Jesus was lost in the Temple? She was also obviously aggravated at Jesus when she said "Son, why have you done this to us?"

Answer by Catholic Answers on 3/19/2014:

Rosemary--

Being anxious and aggravated is not a sin, especially when there is just cause -- such as when your 12-year-old son has disappeared for three days. That said, one does not have to interpret Mary's words to Jesus as indicating "aggravation." She could merely have been expressing concern and/or sorrow.
