re:Ken Hackett
Question from Kay on 11/9/2013:

Dear Ms Brown:

Gosh, you've been busy answering questions that should be in other forums. That is very gracious of you.

This may be belaboring the point, but Mr. Hackett has been a visible figure, at the Vatican and around the world, since Pope Paul VI, and not just in the context of CRS but also Pontifical Council Cor Unam and other posts.

How can 5 popes over 40 years be completely unaware of the concerns about his record?

Also, how can the bishops have prohited him from accepting the ambassadorial post? I did not know they had that kind of authority to instruct the president or override congress and the Vatican.

Have ALL and other organizations and individuals contacted the Vatican to inform appropriate officials of the corruption of the bishops, Mr Hackett, and CRS? If so, what has been the Vatican response?

Answer by Judie Brown on 11/12/2013:

Dear Kay

The entire mess with Ken Hackett, his 40 year stint of dalliances with the wrong groups and so much more are not only a frustration to us but a challenge. Many organizations have consistently brought this matter to the attention of the Holy Father and we will continue to do so, hoping that one day soon justice is served and Mr. Hackett is forced to step down.

It is never too late for the good to overcome evil. Just keep pressing. Please express your concerns to
