birth contol for teenagers
Question from EILEEN Scruggs` on 8/3/2013:

teenage grand-daughter been raped kidnapped and used for human trafficing. Doctors said to put her on birth control because she is sexually active and we are elderly gra d-parents try to take care of her. ARE WE DOING WRONG?

Answer by Judie Brown on 8/4/2013:

Eileen

It would seem to me that what your granddaughter needs most of all is compassionate care and perhaps psychological evaluation. She has been through a series of inhumane treatments that will have a negative effect on her psyche unless steps are taken to help her see love in her life and affirmation of her worth.

The use of birth control in a situation like this is as wrong as it would be for anyone who holds true to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
