fate
Question from sean on 6/1/2013:

Do Catholics believe in fate, destiny and/or that our lives are partially or completely pre-determined?

Or do Catholics believe that one always has free will and that nothing is pre-determined?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 8/18/2013:

Dear Sean,

Catholic believe that all men have free will. Hence the question of whether they will be saved or not depends upon their free choice.

Dr. Geraghty
