Blood of Christ
Question from SAV on 4/15/2013:

Dear Mr. Geraghty,

I was wondering if I should be concerned that I have never received the Blood of Christ. I know Catholics aren't required to receive Him in that form at mass, but am I required to receive it at some point in my life? Thank you, and God bless you!

- SAV

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 4/28/2013:

Dear Sav,

In receiving the host, you are receiving the Blood of Christ. There is no requirement that you receive the Blood in the form of wine. Only the priest is required to do this.

Dr. Geraghty
