re: Biden receives communion at St. Patrick's, NY

Was Cardinal Dolan actually the one who gave Biden communion? If someone else actually gave Biden communion, maybe Cardinal Dolan wasn't in a position to deny him. On another note, should clery first speak to a known public figure outside of the mass about being denied communion so the politician in question has an opportunity to not present themselves for communion?

Cardinal Dolan did NOT personally give Biden the body of Christ though he did publicly acknowledge Biden's presence and had coffee with him after Mass
