Gay marriage
Question from Tom Walsh on 3/18/2013:

I know that Catholics oppose same sex marriage. How do I defend my position?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 3/19/2013:

Hi,

So-called gay marriage ignores the the physical reality of the two sexes and the necessity of their compatibility.

Besides that fact that the bodies of people of the same sex are not sexually compatible, so-called gay marriage ignores that fact that children are entitled to a mother and a father. Again, there is the physcial reality of of that fact that it takes a mother and a father to conceive a child.

How people feel about this does not change the reality of it. This is simply the truth.
