Genesis: God's favoritism
Question from Anonymous on 1/15/2013:

why does god seem to have favorites among his children. how does he choose these favorites?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 3/4/2013:

Dear Anon,

It is the practice of God to work down from the few to the many. The human race started with the single pair of Adam and Eve. The Jewish religion started with Abraham. The Church started with Christ and the twelve apostles. The results are various communities in which each has their particular role to play. The roles differ just as the eyes, ears, and legs have their role in the body. And yet there is only one body. No part is the same as the other and yet each part has its importance. Human beings are part of a community.

Dr. Geraghty
