Today Mother Angelica said that Mary rose from the dead after 3 days and was taken up into heaven. That is not in the Bible. The Bible doesn't even say that Mary was holy or without sin. Where did she get that information when it isn't in the Bible.

I missed this episode but we know with the certitude of Church Tradition that Mary is even now in Heaven, body and soul. The western tradition believes that God spared her from death and took her directly to Heaven some years after the Resurrection of her Son; the eastern tradition believes that she slept in death briefly but did not suffer any indignities such as bodily decomposition. Both traditions put Mary in Heaven now, body and soul. Church Tradition also teaches Mary was absolutely sinless from the moment of her existence: The Immaculate Conception. The greeting of the angel to Mary as "Full of Grace" supports this, as well as the fact that Mary is the New Eve, and as such would enjoy freedom from sin at her own creation.
