RE: Holy day of obligation
Question from Lucy on 12/6/2012:

One more question about holy days of obligation, if you don't mind. Why isn't Easter a holy day of obligation? I've always been told it is the most important holy day on the Christian calendar.

Answer by Catholic Answers on 12/6/2012:

Lucy--

Easter always falls on Sunday, and every Sunday already is a day of obligation for Catholics to attend Mass.
