spousal love
Question from cher on 11/13/2012:

What do I do if I'm no longer attracted to my husband due to mistreatment through out the years by him?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 12/23/2012:

Dear Cher,

Yes, mistreatment can certainly drive out any feelings of love. But love is not just a feeling. It is leaning how to forgive enemies, which often turn out to be those in our own family. It is hard to forgive, hard not to be resentful. We have to pray for the grace.

Dr. Geraghty
