consolation of God
Question from Anne on 11/11/2012:

If one made a poor decision regarding charity, of one that is now deceased, even though speaking with 2 priests about the decision, yet feeling great remorse at having not listened to ones own conscience(even though the priests felt the decision was not sinful)how does one deal with the torture of such remorse?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 11/29/2012:

Dear Anne,

Listen to the priests. They know about such things. Otherwise the self-torture goes on. That's easier said than done. But do it anyway.

Dr. Geraghty
