religious liberty
Question from Dorothy Kacharian on 10/25/2012:

Did Pilate defend religious liberty when he said WHAT HARM HAS HE DONE?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 10/28/2012:

Dear Dorothy,

Well, I suppose you could say he defended religious liberty when he asked WHAT HARM AS HE DONE. But he soon changed his mind when the Jewish leaders reminded him that Christ claimed to be a King and, therefore, an enemy of Caesar.
