Same-sex couples
Question from K. on 9/21/2012:

I fully understand why the Church does not approve of same-sex marriages. However, I am confused about what the Church's belief is on same-sex couples. Is this kind of relationship acceptable if it does not go as far as the bedroom?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 9/24/2012:

K.--

I am confused by what you mean about same-sex couples whose relationship "does not go as far as the bedroom." If a same-sex couple is involved in a romantic relationship, then that "couple" is involved in some form of homosexual activity, although the sinfulness of such activity may be less grave if the two do not engage in sexual relations.
