NO HOMILY DURING MASS
Question from MARY on 8/23/2012:

can you have mass without having a homily? is a homily optional?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 9/5/2012:

Dear Mary,

I don't think it is optional if any one else is there besides the priest. In general a homily is required.

Dr. Geraghty
