Hello I wanted to know as a Catholic is it okay for us to listen to Protestant music in praise and worship form has the church in history in the Catholic Church ever used Protestant music

Dear Amparo

Quite a few songs sung in church have a Protestant origin. Some are "Lead Kindly Light" "Amazing Grace", "Were you there when they crucifies My Lord."
