Definition of "Foolish" and "Foolishness"
Question from Foolish One Perhaps on 8/20/2012:

Good Afternoon Dr. Geraghty --

In last Sunday's readings (Aug. 19th) from scripture it mentioned not to be "foolish". In the context of the scripture, what does "foolish" mean. I do my best to try and lift co-workers, family, and friends' spirits through nice and wholesome humor etc. Am I participating in foolishness when I attempt to bring people up?

Thank you, and may God Bless you.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 8/22/2012:

Dear Foolish,

You are participating in divine foolishness.

Dr. Geraghty
