What should my brother, do so he could be given proper dispensation from Rome since he is now living with the mother of his two children. Since he started living with this woman, he stopped being a priest although I know he will be forever a priest unless he be granted a dispensation. I, being his older sister, would be happier if he could marry the mother of his children in the church and stop living in sin. I love my brother and I am afraid of the consequences of sin. |

Dear Maia, Keep praying for your brother. He will always be a priest. But the Church often dispenses priests from their vows, thus enabling them to marry in the Church. He knows that. Keep praying for him. Dr. Geraghty |
