Birth Control Pill
Question from Anonymous on 4/8/2012:

I have an extremely irregular menstrual cycle and my doctor has suggested the use of a birth control pill in order to regulate it, I am not sure what to do what would be your advice ?

Answer by Judie Brown on 4/10/2012:

Dear Anonymous

If you are sexually active the pill is not for you because one of the actions of the pill is abortion.

If you are abstinent there is nothing immoral about using the pill to control periods but the pill only masks underlying causes and what is really needed is a true diagnosis, not a simple pill.
