SedeVacantism and Excommunication???
Question from Bill on 5/18/2005:

Rev. GAntley et al, Is a Sedevacantist automatically excommunicated? I would think IF he with full knowledge(Heretical nature) of his position STILL persists in IT. THanks.

Answer by Rev. Mark J. Gantley, JCL on 5/18/2005:

Such a person could well be excommunicated due to schism or heresy. Of course full knowledge would be necessary, as you have stated.
