Mass times
Question from Danielle on 2/6/2005:

So my question is not directly related to philosophy, but I am still curious and wanted to ask. I am in college and attend a parish very near, virtually on my own campus, where many other students also attend Mass. There are several Mass times, but the most popular among students is the Mass on Sunday at 10pm. I do enjoy going to this mass because the choir of college students sing beautifully, but I am troubled by attending Mass so late at night...on the Lord's day! I don't doubt the church has permission to offer Mass at such a late time, but do you thnk I have any reason to be concerned?...thank you, Danielle

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 2/10/2005:

Dear Danielle,

You have no reason to be concerned.

Dr. Geraghty
