The word 'fetus'
Question from Cecilia on 1/30/2014:

Dear Judy,

After reading the post by Chloe, re the Church's stand on a brain-dead woman carrying a 'fetus' I just had to comment & say that I hate, hate, HATE when people call a preborn baby a "fetus". That word has been so misused & overused by the anti-life people that it has lost all association with anything human. You might as well substitute "object" for "fetus" because that's certainly what's meant. God help us.

Answer by Judie Brown on 2/1/2014:

Cecelia

FETUS is Latin for Little One or Child.
