Is the Mark of the Beast coming on March 23rd, 2013? It's suppposed to be a Microchip with 666 on it. I'm so confused... |

The mark is identified as 666 and over the centuries of Christianity, going back to the first century, there has been much speculation as to its meaning and application, but we remain uncertain. Perhaps the first candidate for the mark of the beast was Caesar Nero, who name totaled 666 in the Hebrew, who was the first terrible persecutor of Christians in the 60's AD. Obviously he is not the ultimate anti-Christ but he was an early example of an anti-Christ. It will be fulfilled, but until it happens we can only speculate and be vigilant. Father Echert |
