The singles group I belong to has a lot of Catholics over 60 having sex w/o marriage. The group tells me that it does not apply to us bec we cannot have children. Excuse me! Since when is sex outside of marriage only a mortal sin for women who can have children! Some in the group say if they marry they will lose their deseased husband's pension and they cannot live on what the living guy gets. Want to know why? He is paying for the ex-wife. Plus they don't want to pay for an annulement that their non-catholic members call a Catholic Divorce. I am amazed how little they know about their Faith. So tell me am I corect that sex outside of marriage is wrong for anyone at anytime? I've been to church with them and the couples recieve? Plus they do not believe in hell or that they will be going bec of having sex outside of marrige. At 57 I feel I am back in Collge where a guy told me to put out or get out.
