Mass disruptions
Question from N.H. on 3/9/2014:

Michelle, can you provide some guidance for how to respond to this situation? I love the fact that young families are attending Mass together, it is edifying to know they love their Catholic faith. However, most are overwhelmed with keeping the young child in the pew during Mass, and from disrupting the Mass. I also see schoolage children allowed to sit on the kneeler facing the pew and color in books all through the Mass. It's disturbing that this inappropriate behavior is deemed appropriate. How do I respond to these parents who trying to do good; but are in fact, causing disrespect to Jesus and to the rest of the congregation?
