Yoga
Question from Chris on 5/31/2012:

I'm starting a workout program that includes some stretches and concepts from yoga; however, I'm not sure if it is centered around yoga or if it just uses the stretches as a warm up. I have heard mixed opinions on the use of yoga. A friend of mine is in the seminary and he once told me that they use yoga there as a form of relaxation to help with stress. I have also seen it being used at Catholic retreat houses and churches in my area. However, I have also read Catholic articles that say that the use of yoga is against the teachings of the Church. Is this true?
