Yesterday a child whose family is Muslim wrote to me and asked me what the Mass was. What would be the best way to explain to her (she is 10 or 11) what the Mass is? |

Kirsten-- It would probably be helpful to contact the child's parents, share with them her letter, explain to them that you would like to answer it, and ask them if they would have any objection to you doing so. If they agree, you might look to The Mass for Children by Frs. L. Lovasik and J. Winkler for ideas (and give the book to the child, with her parents' permission). Michelle Arnold |
