Godparents
Question from Christopher on 6/29/2012:

Can a child have more than two godparents?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 6/29/2012:

Christopher--

No. Canon law states that one godparent is sufficient, but allows for two so long as there is one of each sex. There is no provision for more than two godparents.
