Marriage and Annulment after divorce.
Question from Connie Rogers on 4/22/2012:

I am 52 years old. My first marriage ended in 1991. I was married to a Catholic Convert. Our marriage if you want to call it that we produced three children. I married at age 18, far too young and immature. My question is can that marriage be annulled?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 7/15/2012:

Dear Connie,

You have to ask a priest that question because the answer depends on the circumstances of your first marriage, circumstances that only you an know. You need a confidential talk with a priest or some close friend who knows what she or she is talking about. Annulment is a complicated question.

Dr. Geraghty
