Creation
Question from anonymous on 10/23/2009:

Dear Dr. Geraghty,

Sorry, I had sent this question to you already but have not received a reply, so I am doing this again.

My son said that God does not create dogs. God creates wolves. Dogs come from wolves. It is humans who change the breeding of wolves, that's how we have dogs.

Now I have this thought: we have now watermelon in a square shape. God creates round watermelon but humans later produce it in a square shape. So God does not really create this square watermelon.

I am confused. Is all the above true?

Thank you very much for your help and God bless you.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 11/1/2009:

Dear Anon,

You are right to say that God is the ultimate creator of everything. But you will have to check with the scientist to know if dogs came from wolves or from other dogs or whether wolves came from some other prototype. God gave every being is start but he have given creatures the power to produce other creatures also.

Dr. Geraghty
