Do comatose patients or babies born with brain defects have souls?
Question from Anonymous on 2/20/2013:

Would a patient who is in a deep coma or a baby who is born with a severe brain defect have a soul?

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 2/28/2013:

Dear Anon,

There is nothing defective about their souls. When they die they will have a soul with intellect and will and so will be able to do what any other soul can do.

Dr. Geraghty
